The compulsory completion of entry and exit custom declaration forms have gone for the normal traveller.

However, various airline cabin crew continue to distribute and announce the need to complete these custom forms. Generally you do NOT need to complete any customs forms - arriving or departing (read more about customs' declaration forms), upon collecting your luggage simply go through the Green (nothing to declare) channel.

If you fancy the possibility of killing a few hours and enjoy a challenge then complete a form and head for the Red channel…good luck! - Things here have improved greatly, there's really no need to worry.

The customs have issued 'guidelines' for importing and exporting but the general opinion is that some ink has been wasted!
